I can’t say how much I enjoy Charlotte’s Personally Pilates classes which I’ve been attending twice a week since September 2021 and can’t wait to get back to at the start of each term!  

Her lovely personality and excellent demonstrations and instruction ensure that the classes are friendly, fun, varied and well constructed.  The activities are flexed to suit all levels so that you can work at a basic level or do the more advanced movements but always within your own mobility limitations and under Charlotte’s guidance.  

When I joined the class I had a very limited range of movement in my right shoulder due to a torn ligament sustained in 2019.  With Charlotte’s help and advice during the classes, I have gradually been able to build up muscle strength and flexibility to a point where I have almost a full range of shoulder movement and can work with light weights.  It has made such a difference to my everyday life as I can perform most tasks that require me to raise or stretch my right arm.

My core strength and general flexibility, fitness and balance have improved no end and I just feel so good after each session.

Pilates has been a very important addition to my life.  After dealing with back and hip pain for a few years, a consultant suggested Pilates ahead of other interventions.  I must say I was deeply sceptical but discovered Charlotte who has been giving me 121 sessions for well over two years.  The results have been truly transformational.  Charlotte makes the sessions fun and challenging and I am now a true advocate of both Pilates and Charlotte.  Thanks for truly making a difference to me and the life I now lead  Paul

I have just realised it has been nearly three years since I started Pilates with Charlotte. Just wanted to say thank you for everything, I've noticed a huge improvement in my flexibility and posture, my arms and legs have become leaner, and my back is stronger.
I have definitely developed a whole lot of muscle, I’m not saying that my fat has disappeared (a work in progress as Charlotte would say) but my six pack is without doubt forming under its little cushion and as to my armpits, what more can I say.
Charlotte modifies each class so that there are some new or different exercises each week and (even though we may groan) the intensity is gradually increased. Even though I do three classes a week, each is different and utilises various instruments of torture – or Pilates equipment in laymen’s terms.
Quite simply Charlotte’s classes work for me.  Personal attention guaranteed – even though you don’t always want to be told to put your shoulders down and wish I could do a daily session as it’s the perfect start or end to a day.
